Volunteer Work
Carrying out volunteer work abroad will give you a great deal of satisfaction, while giving you the opportunity to see places well of the beaten track. You will be providing essential services to people that really need your help. This type of work is ideal for younger people who want to contribute to other peoples welfare and do some travelling before starting a career. Employers look very favourably on people who have done this type of work they see potential employess in a diferent light once they have done volunteer work. 
VSO is an international development charity that works through volunteers. Their vision is a world without poverty in which people work together to fulfil their potential.
They bring people together to share skills, creativity and learning to build a fairer world. VSO welcomes volunteer workers from an ever increasing range of countries, backgrounds and ages. National agencies in Canada, Kenya, the Netherlands and the Philippines recruit volunteers from many different countries worldwide and this international approach allows us to combine and learn from a rich variety of perspectives.
