The following are the costs for U.K. passports. The first passport costs £42.00 on a three delivery, however this is not guaranteed. At selected post offices they operate a two week guaranteed delivery service for the same price. You can also make an appointment at your local passport office if you need your passport urgently. This service costs £70 and you will get your passport within one week. If you are sending your application by post it is well worthwhile having you form checked before sending it off. The UKPS has over 2,000 High Street Partners throughout the UK. Application forms are available from their High Street Partners and for a handling fee of £6, they will forward all the relevant paperwork, plus your payment for the passport direct to the passport office.
